Hi, I’m landon funk.

When working with my students, everything is about regulating their nervous system in order to achieve maximum learning outcomes. This means that I offer a holistic and mindful approach to education, ensuring that the student is regulated through breathing techniques, sitting on the floor, fidgeting with their hands, etc. before working on math, test prep, writing, or whatever else your student and I will be working on.

After every session, the parent or guardian will receive an email with a recap of my session with their student. I want parents to be active participants and to know what their child is doing well and topics with which they are struggling. If a parent ever wants to talk more in-depth about their student’s progress, I am always happy to chat on the phone, in-person, or over Zoom. Parents and students will have access to my cell phone number and my email, and I promise to always respond within one business day.

The student’s success if my number one priority, and I want them to leave every session with me feeling empowered, grounded, and intelligent.

Students who identify as LGBTQIA+ and/or are BIPOC are always welcome and supported in my office.
